What is the function of the PVC coating in SOLCOR cables for musical instruments and microphones?

pvc coating

PVC or polyvinyl chloride is used as a coating for musical instrument and microphone cables due to its durability, resistance to abrasion and moisture, and its ability to maintain good electrical conductivity.

The PVC is applied to our cables through an extrusion process, in which the material is heated and passed through a mold to form a cable. PVC can also include additives to improve its properties, such as resistance to UV radiation or the ability to withstand high temperatures.

Our musical instrument and microphone cables with PVC coating come in different lines and are designed to be flexible and easy to handle. It is important to choose a high-quality instrument and/or microphone cable to ensure that the electrical signal is transmitted clearly and accurately.

SOLCOR’s line of cables will leave you more than satisfied!
